Photo Progression

Okay, well…I finally decided that I would do it.  I’m going to post a series of photos that show me from before I started this journey (at my heaviest) to today.  It’s strange seeing these photos next to each other, and I’m sure those of you who haven’t seen me in a while would never believe that both are the same person.  I promise you though, no trickery, no photoshopping, nothing.  Pure unadulterated me.

So, here we go….

  1. I have known you for many years Jess and this transformation of self is truly inspirational! The smile that you have on your face shows the self satisfactions one can get just by making different choices in ones life. So very proud of you and all that you have accomplished on your life journey thus far. Keep up the great work and remember you always have a fan in me!!!! <3

  2. Quite a journey!! You look awesome. Susan Apel was in (Professor Apel) and I was telling her how great you looked! I’ m not sure she would have recognized you in your present photo…Keep it up!!!! Miss you!

  3. Good Job Jessica I love it and it is an inspiration to ANY one who says they can’t do it unless they get surgery! Quick fixes are fixes you gotta put in the long hard grueling hours!!

    • That’s right. You have to put in the work to make it last. I know a lot of people who had surgery who gained a lot of the weight back because they kept up their bad habits. It’s about a lifestyle change!

  4. I actually had tears in my eye’s as I was going through these! All I can say is AMAZING!!!! You should be so proud of yourself! What you did is so hard for so many people and you did it!!! I remember when you started this journey and I remember thinking “you can do this!” I am truly lost for words at how excited I am for you! Keep it up Jessica!! ~ Ashley Ross:)

  5. What an inspiration! You’re on an incredible journey and brave enough to document it. Thank you for being a role model and showing everyone that hard work does pay off!!

  6. What a transformation! It is so important for people to see that getting healthy is a process that if you stick with day after day, amazing changes happen. Great job :)
